My War With "Woke"

The next time I hear governor DeSantis of Florida use the word Woke in a sentence I am going to vomit. He constantly panders to his racist followers by using the word to show how hope he is in relating to black parlance. He is trying to be hip and in the know." See how cool I am" Really you are showing how stupid you are. In the first place you are bastardizing the word "woke." The word woke was used to make sure travelers going south were appropriately on guard for whites who may be looking to give them a hard time. The black had to be careful the Klan was always harassing travelers especially blacks of means with nice or new cars. I remember getting on the road at 2 o'clock in the morning when leaving Chicago going to Birmingham Alabama to reach somewhere where blacks would be served my grandfather was "woke".
