Hello folks my name is Carlos Greenwood (aka Carlos GR) and I am a singer – songwriter from the northern California area. I started my musical journey playing the saxophone and over the years developed my skills and love for the piano and singing. My music is influenced by musical greats such as Nat King Cole, John Lennon, Lionel Richie, Tina Turner and many others. If I were to accurately describe my sound I would say it’s soul music that has both folk and pop elements. I love all kinds of great sound ideas so it’s hard for me to just say my music only fits in one genre. Currently I’ve released my new song called “We will find love”, which is available on all major digital music stores. This song is a story about hope and sacrifice for humanity and addresses our need for faith and spiritual love. A little bit about my background, I enjoy the whole process of songwriting from conceptualizing to the actual production and engineering of a song. I am inspired by both personal experiences as well as stories that have great significance. Even though I appreciate all instruments my passion is for the piano as it is at the heart of all my musical ideas. My hope is to continue to write great music with powerful meaning that will inspire other musical artists to do the same. My music can be found under my stage name Carlos GR, and heard at iHeart radio, Pandora and Indy network live to name a few. Also,, please feel free to review my songs and join my musical journey by following me on Instagram under Carlos GR.

PS. I developed and designed this website so please feel free to contact me via the “contact submission form” for any of your website development needs.

Thank you,

Carlos Greenwood
